Amit Walia, Chief Executive Officer

Amit Walia is the Chief Executive Officer of Informatica, the trusted partner to multinational organizations, state and local governments in their cloud-first, cloud-native journey to data-led intelligent digital transformation. Recognized as a transformational CEO, Amit has led the evolution of Informatica into an AI-powered cloud data management leader outperforming the competition in all key product categories of enterprise data management. Within his first year as CEO, Informatica received the industry’s highest vendor rating from Gartner for strategy and products among 34 global enterprise cloud companies and he has also been recognized as the Cloud Executive of the Year (2022) by the Business Intelligence Group.

Joining in 2013, Amit quickly became the driving force behind Informatica’s product innovation and business transformation as the President and also the Chief Product Officer of the company. Anchored in his fundamental belief that “Data is the SOUL of digital transformation,” Amit’s vision led to the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform, powered by CLAIRE, Informatica’s AI engine. The IDMC platform has been recognized as the Gartner Magic Quadrant leader in iPaaS for seven years in a row and also won the 2022 Best New Product of the Year from Stratus.

Prior to Informatica, Amit worked in leadership positions at Symantec, Intuit, and McKinsey & Company. He spent the earlier part of his career working for Tata Group and Infosys Technologies in India.

Amit holds a Master of Business Administration with honors in strategy and economics from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Additionally, he received his Bachelor of Science with honors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Varanasi. Amit serves on the board of directors for Box Inc., a content cloud company.

Jitesh Ghai, EVP, Chief Product Officer

Jitesh S. Ghai is Informatica’s EVP and Chief Product Officer, where he leads product management, user experience/design, engineering, and cloud operations with a customer-centric approach to product innovation. Under his leadership, the products organization has established Informatica as a market leader in ALL five key categories of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant in enterprise cloud data management. Jitesh has been the driving force for Informatica’s continuous innovation and transformation as a top cloud data leader garnering industry recognition which include being named Microsoft and Snowflake’s Partner of the Year in 2020 and Computing Magazine’s “Cloud Data Management Solution of the Year in 2020.” He is responsible for the vision, strategy and execution around Informatica’s Intelligent Cloud Services platform powered by CLAIRE, the company’s AI engine and named a leader in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant for iPaaS. Previously, Jitesh led Informatica’s Data Governance & Privacy organization which has become an industry gold standard for data governance, quality and privacy. Under Jitesh’s leadership, Informatica has evolved into one of the top cloud data companies and THE trusted partner for 85 of the Fortune 100 companies.

Jitesh began his career at Informatica as vice president of product management, defining the overall vision and strategy for operational data integration, big data and IoT use cases. Prior to Informatica, Jitesh served in a variety of leadership roles in engineering, sales, and product management at Cisco, Solace, and 29West.

Jitesh holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, First Class Honours, in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He has been recognized as one of the “Top Seven Big Innovation Executives in 2021” by the Business Intelligence Group for people that are bringing new ideas to life in innovative ways.

Jim Kruger, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer

Jim Kruger is Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Informatica where he leads the global marketing organization with the charter to accelerate cloud growth, expand into new markets and industry verticals, and lead the company’s brand momentum.

Jim has more than 25 years of experience in leading all facets of marketing and driving growth. In his previous role as CMO of Veeam Software, Jim led all aspects of Marketing and Sales Enablement for the company in the Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Market. Prior to this, he was CMO at Intermedia, offering Unified Communications as a service to businesses. He spent 17 years at Polycom in a variety of roles from Executive Vice President/CMO to leading product marketing and product management for the Voice division to Vice President/General Manager over a $200M business. Prior to Polycom, Jim served in several senior marketing roles with GTE (Verizon) wireless and Palm.

Jim holds an MBA from California State University, East Bay, and a BA from University of California, Berkeley.

Michael McLaughlin , EVP, Chief Financial Officer

Mike McLaughlin leads Informatica’s global finance organization as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all finance, information technology and corporate development functions.  
 
Mike joined Informatica from Fair Isaac Corporation (“FICO"). As EVP and CFO, he led the finance function for FICO’s Scores and Software segments globally.  Prior to FICO, Mike spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley, where he was Managing Director and Head of Technology Corporate Finance, based in New York and Silicon Valley. During his 26-year investment banking career, Mike advised hundreds of companies in the technology, financial services and real estate sectors on a wide range of strategic and financial topics. 
 
Mike holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Masters of Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.

John Schweitzer, EVP, Chief Revenue Officer

John Schweitzer is executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Informatica. In his role, John is responsible for leading global sales and go-to-market strategy.

John brings more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry. He has a proven track record in transforming global, hypergrowth companies, into multibillion-dollar market segment leaders. Prior to joining Informatica in 2021, John served as chief revenue officer at Software AG, a leading provider of enterprise integration and IoT solutions. He was responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy including sales, services, channels, and customer success. Prior to Software AG, he held various global sales leadership roles at SAP, Oracle, Workday, DataStax and Hyperion.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration from Northern Arizona University. He completed executive education at the International Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ansa Sekharan, EVP, Chief Customer Officer

Ansa Sekharan, executive vice president and chief customer officer, leads Informatica's Global Customer Support and Informatica University, where he is responsible for establishing Informatica as a trusted partner for customers worldwide by ensuring their success with Informatica's products.

Ansa was an early employee at Informatica starting in 1996. During his tenure, Informatica has received prestigious industry awards recognizing its support services, including being ranked number one in customer loyalty in the data integration enterprise software sector for 11 years in a row. Prior to joining Informatica, Ansa was a veteran of Sybase, where he held numerous customer services roles.

He graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa, where he earned a master's degree in Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The National Institute of Technology, India.

Vineet Walia, EVP, Chief Strategy Officer

Vineet Walia, is executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Informatica. He is responsible for accelerating Informatica’s business transformation, strategic planning, critical cross-functional initiatives and operating cadence to drive the company’s growth, profitability, value creation and long-term customer success.

Vineet brings more than two decades of business strategy, transformation and operations leadership experience. Prior to Informatica he was vice president, global sales strategy, transformation and programs at HPE, which included responsibility for M&A integration and strategic programs. Prior to HPE, Vineet was corporate vice president, head of corporate strategy at Juniper Networks where he led all aspects of the company’s strategy and was a key member of the team that led a company-wide transformation in 2014. Before Juniper, Vineet held various senior leadership positions at Mercer and technology companies in India.

Vineet holds a Master of Business Administration with honors in Corporate Finance from Bentley University, Massachusetts. He also holds a diploma in Financial Management from NMIMS, India, a Harvard Business School executive education certificate in Corporate Level Strategy and has passed CFA level 1.

Erin Andre, SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Erin Andre is the senior vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO) for Informatica. As CHRO she is responsible for driving a culture of innovation, designing strategies to attract, develop and retain world-class talent, while continuing to deepen the company’s high-performance environment. With thousands of employees in dozens of countries, the company’s global HR strategy focus is on higher engagement, building Informatica’s reputation as a great place to work and creating an exceptional employee experience.

Erin will help Informatica employees live the “We DATA” values – Do Good, Act as One Team, Think Customer First, and Aspire for the Future – and will work to provide an environment where employees can learn, grow, and have long and successful careers within the company.

Previously, Erin was the chief people officer at non-profit research center, SRI, and earlier served as the chief human resources officer at Convergys Corporation. Before that, she was senior vice president, human resources for ABM, where she led the organization’s excellence initiative and modernized the human resources function and prior to that served as a senior human resources leader at National Energy and Gas Transmission as well as PG&E corporation.

Erin holds a B.S. degree in public administration with a concentration in human resources from University of the Pacific.

Brad Lewis, SVP, Chief Legal Officer

Brad Lewis is the senior vice president and chief legal officer of Informatica with responsibility for legal and licensing compliance. Brad’s focus is on championing innovation and the use of legal technology to streamline processes, reduce cost and enable a better customer experience in a risk controlled environment.

Brad brings nearly 30 years of experience leading legal teams. Most recently, Brad was a Managing Director at BlackRock, where he led global legal teams responsible for institutional sales, financial technology and software agreements, intellectual property, and banking regulation. Prior to BlackRock, Brad was a partner at Fenwick & West LLP, where he led legal teams representing leading Silicon Valley technology companies in a variety of engagements. Before Fenwick, he was a federal prosecutor, where he led criminal investigations and prosecutions of white collar crimes.

Brad earned his law degree from U.C. Berkeley, where he was an Executive Editor for the California Law Review. He graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Graeme Thompson, SVP, Chief Information Officer

Graeme Thompson is the senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of Informatica, responsible for the worldwide IT, information security and data governance functions. In his role he leads the ongoing enhancement of the company's IT infrastructure and applications in support of the growth and transformation of the company.

Prior to joining Informatica in 2016, he was vice president of global IT, end user services at Oracle where he led a global team with end-to-end responsibility for all internal, user-facing enterprise IT services at Oracle. Prior to Oracle, he was vice president and CIO at BEA Systems and vice president, Supply Chain at Riverstone Networks.

Graeme graduated with distinction from the University of Paisley in Scotland with a bachelor of arts in Business Economics with Marketing.

Bruce Chizen, Chairman

Bruce Chizen is the Chair of our board of directors and has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2015. Prior to our public offering, he served as the Executive Chair of our board of directions since January 2016, and as a special advisor since August 2015.

Previously Bruce served as Adobe Systems, Inc.’s chief executive officer responsible for the company’s customer-focused vision which transformed Adobe into one of the world’s largest and most diversified software companies in terms of revenue, global reach and breadth of products. As CEO from 2000 to 2007, Bruce tripled Adobe's revenue and turned a company, known mainly for its popular design products, into one of the most significant forces in the software industry.

Prior to becoming CEO, Bruce was executive vice president of worldwide products and marketing. At Adobe since 1994, he was previously vice president and general manager of both the professional graphics division and Adobe's consumer division.

From 1980 to 1983, he worked in Mattel Electronics’ merchandising group, helping grow it to a $500 million business. In 1983, Chizen joined Microsoft Corporation eventually becoming the company’s eastern region sales director. In 1987, he joined Claris Corporation, a subsidiary of Apple Computer, Inc., as a founding senior manager and later held positions as vice president of sales and worldwide marketing before becoming vice president and general manager of Claris Clear Choice.

Bruce is a Venture Partner with Voyager Capital and Senior Advisor to Permira Funds, and currently serves on the boards of Oracle Corp., Synopsys, Inc, Ancestry.com and Chargepoint Inc. He also serves on the non-profit public broadcaster KQED.

Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.

Janice Chaffin, Board Member

Janice Chaffin is a technology executive with over 30 years of marketing and general management experience. From 2008-2013, Janice served as group president for Symantec’s consumer business and from 2003-2008 she served as the company’s first CMO. Prior to joining Symantec, Janice spent 21 years in marketing and management positions at Hewlett-Packard including vice president and general manager of the global HP9000 server business.

Janice joined the board of Informatica in December 2019, and previously served as a board member with the company from 2001-2008. She also currently serves on the boards of Synopsys and PTC. She is on the Advisory board for Illuminate Ventures and of the Board of Advisors for the UCLA Anderson School of Management where she also serves on the Executive Committee.

Janice graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Political Science, and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was an Edward W. Carter Fellow.

Jerry Held, Ph.D, Board Member

Jerry Held, Ph.D, has been a successful entrepreneur, executive and investor in Silicon Valley for over 40 years. He has been involved in managing all growth stages of companies from conception to multi-billion dollar global enterprises. He is currently chairman of Tamr and Madaket Health and serves on the boards of Informatica, NetApp (NTAP) and Copia Global. He served as executive chairman of MemSQL and Vertica Systems (acquired by HP) and was lead independent director of Business Objects (acquired by SAP).

Previously, Dr. Held was “CEO-in-residence” at the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He was senior vice president of Oracle Corporation’s server product division and was a member of the executive team that grew Tandem Computers from pre-revenue to a multi-billion company.

Dr. Held received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he led the initial development of the INGRES relational database management system.

Ryan Lanpher, Board Member

Ryan Lanpher is a partner with Permira Advisers LLC. Ryan focuses on investment opportunities in the technology sector and has worked on a number of transactions including Genesys, Informatica, Metalogix and Synamedia. He is currently a non-executive director at Genesys and Informatica.

Prior to pursuing his MBA, Ryan worked in Permira’s Menlo Park office for three years. Before that, he worked at Bank of America in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group.

Ryan has a degree in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Austin Locke, Board Member

Austin Locke is a senior principal with CPP Investments focusing on private equity transactions in the Technology sector. Austin has over 15 years of investing and transaction experience.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Austin worked at Miller Buckfire in New York, where he specialized in restructurings and distressed transactions. He previously served as an investment professional at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, where he analyzed and executed private equity investments across several industries. Prior to that he worked in mergers & acquisitions.

Austin earned a Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Betsy Rafael is a board member and the chair of the audit committee at Informatica. She is a Silicon Valley veteran and a seasoned Finance executive with deep expertise in the technology sector including leadership positions at Apple and Cisco. She was most recently the Chief Transformation Officer at GoDaddy Inc. from May 2018 to November 2019. Prior to that she completed a five-year tenure at Apple as Vice President and Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Executive, retiring in October 2012. Ms. Rafael also enjoyed a successful career at Cisco Systems where she was Vice President, Corporate Finance and served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. She was the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer of Aspect Communications, Inc.; the Senior Vice-President and CFO of Escalate, Inc. She has held senior leadership positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Sun Microsystems and began her career with Arthur Young & Company.

Ms. Rafael serves on the board of directors at Autodesk, Kinaxis, and Proofpoint where she is also the Audit Committee Chair. She previously served on the board of directors at Echelon, Shutterfly and GoDaddy. She graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a B.S.C. degree in Accounting and sat on the Santa Clara Board of Trustees from October 2012 through 2018.

Brian Ruder, Board Member

Brian Ruder is a partner, head of Menlo Park and co-head of the technology team with Permira Advisers LLC. He serves on the Investment Committee and the Executive Committee. He has worked on a number of transactions including Ancestry, Genesys, Informatica, LegalZoom, Magento, Metalogix, Minted, Renaissance learning and TeamViewer.

Prior to joining Permira in 2008, Brian was a Partner at Francisco Partners where he covered investments in the Software and Services sector. He has also worked for Hellman & Friedman and in corporate finance for Morgan Stanley.

Brian has a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Cesare Ruggiero, Board Member

Cesare Ruggiero is a managing director with CPP Investments in the Portfolio Value Creation group. He works with portfolio companies across private equity, infrastructure and sustainable energies investments to achieve full value potential. He serves on the Real Assets Investment Committee. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Cesare worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he advised companies in business strategy and operational improvement. Prior to BCG, Cesare worked at Capgemini (formerly Cap Gemini Ernst & Young) as the head of the U.S. M&A practice area. Cesare holds an Hons. BA with high distinction in International Relations from the University of Toronto. He currently serves on the boards of Ports America and Mytheresa.

Jill Ward, Board Member

Jill Ward is a board member, business leader, and operating executive experienced in scaling products and companies in technology and business services. She currently serves as chair of the board of directors at Dynatrace Inc and is a member of the board of directors at Hubspot, Inc. Previously, she served on the boards of directors of technology companies Carbon Black, prior to its acquisition by VMWare, and Adaptive Insights, prior to its acquisition by Workday. She also served as a consulting operating partner at Lead Edge Capital, advising private technology companies.

As an operating executive, Jill served as President and Chief Operating Officer of software and internet-of-things (IoT) provider Fleetmatics Group PLC. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President and General Manager at software company Intuit. Earlier, she held leadership positions with customer contact outsourcing company Telespectrum, as well as with financial services firm Fidelity Investments and strategy consulting firm Bain & Company.

Jill holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
